Does anyone know how to reduce severe anxiety ?

Something strange happens to me. I shake so badly I can't keep something in my hands. My hands and body become cold as ice. I can't cook, clean. I feel fainted and very weak. I tried medication ( so many meds I can't even count). This doesn't work. I tried therapy. I did some relaxation exercises. Nothing seems to work. Can dehydration be a cause of these symptoms? And does anyone know how to reduce this anxiety? I went to many doctors. They can't help. That's what they told me. I need some suggestions, if it's possible.

If everything is okay physically, you should look inside your head for the solution. I sometimes experience the same thing although not as strongly as you. That's when I sit down and write on paper everything I am worried about. I write down all the good things in my life and all the bad things. The bad things I can't do anything about are put in a category I call "prayer" and the list is put where I will see it often. When I see it, I pray about those things. That means I am doing something about them, if only asking God to help me out with them. The bad things that I can do something about go on another list. Under each one I write possible solutions and how to make them happen. Those, too, are placed prominently so that I can see them and work on them. The good things are copied and placed everywhere I go in the house, usually one list in each room. That's so I can see how blessed I am and it puts my bad things into perspective--it shows me that things are not as bad as I think they are. Making and reviewing these lists and creating a plan of action usually makes me feel a lot better and shows me that I can have control over my life if I choose to. It relieves the anxiety a great deal. Maybe something like this will help you.

I am sorry to hear what you are going through. But I think you have to help yourself if you want to get better. First thing you do when you wake up is to breathe and pray. Thank God you are alive and to help you get by the day. Maybe yiu can do something that interests you. Sonething that you love to do. Therapy will help a lot but yiu have to help youraelf too. Keep your faith to yourself and to your Maker. I know you cam do it. Gid bless you
