The other half woke up sick this morning, so my plans to make a big breakfast for us aren't going to happen. He's laying on the couch, half asleep right now but he said he didn't feel like eating. So instead of making a big breakfast I am just going to eat a bagel with cream cheese and maybe some ham.

Otto made me a ham & cheese omelet with toast, which toddler boy helped me eat (and kept running off with my fork!)

@thislittlepennyearns He's less picky than some of his siblings (my stepkids), who eat a very different diet at their house than we do here. I was trying to drink a bottle of kombucha yesterday, and I think he had more of it than I did. He kept holding up his cup and saying "JOOSE! Peese?"

I just had an English muffin. It is a good thing it was something easy to digest, because my electric bill was frightening. When I get paid from roomie next month..I think I will have to put something on next month's bill so it doesn't get wildly out of control!

I ended up putting ham and pepperjack cheese on the bagel, and its not sitting well. lol
I haven't seen the electric bill yet but ours is usually around 200

@snowy22315 maybe because of the cold days? I don't know. ours hasn't been that high in a while. it was like 450 one month last summer, but that's because when we got the new hvac put in the guy crosswired it and every time the ac kicked on the heating coils were on too. .

I don't remember us being able to choose bagels in high school. Although there was a breakfast service available, I mostly got doughnuts or we went to McDonalds.
