So, one thing about Ibotta is that your list of rebate purchases may require you buy things you have never bought before. I have never had Kombucha although some people swear by it. It just never appealed to me that much. Anyway, since it was on the "list" I bought it and tried it. It is a bit like drinking flavored vinegar but I don't hate it. However, I think I would rather go for Kefir as that looks like yogurt. Have you had Kombucha? What did you think? Do you think it benefitted you? Kombucha an potato chips..what a combo! I may have erased the positive benefits of it.

It is a fermented drink made out of tea that is supposed to give great health benefits. Although who knows really? Drinking apple cider vinegar is supposed to be good for you..and it is the same priciple I think.

@snowy22315 After reading about it, I'll pass. I have drunk apple cider vinegar, and it does have great health benefits. I also use it when I cook roasts, stews, any kind of beef in the crock pot. It makes the meat very tender, as well as giving you the great health benefits found in apple cider - unfiltered and without sugar is the best.

@just4him I will have to use that more often. I have some in the cupboard. I don't like drinking it though.

@snowy22315 A friend of mine made Kefir and I’ve heard wonderful things about it. I see drinks of it at Walmart but they are very costly so I should try making it myself.

@shaggin I am sure you could. I have made yogurt before and they are really quite similar.

I heard of it several years ago on a trip to see a friend who was living in a commune. They were making it. It is widely used though and commercially available. It has major health benefits so they say.

They should sell it in the health section of your grocery store. It would be refrigerated. I am sure they must sell it in health foods stores and the like.

I had Kombhucha, I had a sip and the rest went down in the drain of my sink.

I will drink mine. I don't think I would want an unflavored type though.

@snowy22315 I did not like it at all, anyway I did not pay for it, they were offering the product to taste.

Is Ibotta an online shop? I haven't heard of the word before. Not Kombucha or even Kefir. Maybe I'm living in a cave.

No, it is an app that gives you rebates for buying certain things in stores. It may not work there in OZ..
