I was lazy, but I was able to make it!

I have this challenge for myself since quite some time ago, which is to go jogging in the morning. I know I should, as it's really better for my health, especially when I feel my wrist or ankle pain, and I feel so much better after I go jogging. Sometimes, I am just too lazy, and most of the time, I am stuck with my computer. I was thinking if I should go jogging this morning, as I was again stuck to my computer. My baby boy woke up at 7am which I was supposed to go jogging. After nursing him, he went back to sleep. So I think it's good for me to go jogging, then I went. It's so nice to go jogging in the park, in the morning, where there are nice aroma of flowers, grass and trees. I was also listening to a podcast about Waldorf homeschooling which motivated me. So, it's always go to just not be lazy, and go jogging! Do you always go jogging?

I used to go jogging before having kids. I loved waking up early and jogging through our local college through the morning fog. Last year I had been good about going to the same college to take brisk walks and go stretching and using the outdoor gym after I dropped the kids off at school . . . but when school started again in September, I started helping out in my son's classroom . . . so now I don't have that morning time to do that. However, I am trying to stretch and dance indoors again - I at least have that . . . but when volunteer time is over, I intend to go back to my brisk walks again!

Brisk walks sound good, but I think you have fun volunteering in your son's classroom too, right? I am trying to do some stretching at home too, as I found that it really helps me to prevent body ache. If I don't do some stretching or exercises for some time, my body started to ache. Hence, I started to become more active. Unlike you, I didn't like jogging when I was younger, but now I understand the joy of jogging.

@kaka135 I actually get stressed out volunteering in the classroom . I like to cut things, make things, do those manual tasks that the teacher doesn't have time to do. But we help the kids with speed reading, comprehension and math - and I have found that I would not make a good teacher . I know how to handle my own kids, but teaching kids of various levels and temperaments is not easy - especially when they are expected to be at a particular standard level. I want to just play with the kids ! Aching - yes, I know the feeling. I find my body is definitely not what it used to be . Good for you for getting more active . . . I really need to get more routine about it again. Do you play music while you jog? That would motivate me even more too.

I never go jogging, it's not appropriate for me and for my age. I walk.

Be proud of yourself. I used to go jogging but now I don't do it. I miss jogging but now I have to be patient to get back my energy.

I never go jogging so you're doing much better than I am.
