How do you like to decorate your cake?

Some of you make cakes, and some of you do not..even if you do not make them..what type of decorations do you like on your cake? I was thinking of just using sprinkles because I have plenty of them..but new roomie gave me some blueberries and raspberries, I think I may put some on top of the cake and maybe put a line of sprinkles around the edges..that might be cute. What do you put on yours or how do you like them?

@LadyDuck What I really don't like is if you get a bakery cake and the icing is too sweet. I have had a few things where they must have lost track how much sugar they were putting in!

I want a very pretty cake decoration. Lol. I like them nice and pretty. But I still need more practice though.
You ate right you can have the sprinkle around the edge the line the berries after the sprinkle then sprinkle again. Or sprinkle on the side of cake and berries on top

Yes, a cherry looks very nice on top of a white or coconut cake. The contrast is nice. It looks good on a chocolate cake. I decorated mine the way I said I would it looks pretty good.

Honestly, not sure I have put fruit on them before, but I have seen it done many times. You get a little wholesomeness with your junk food..lol.
