Took Mom to the doctor , she has Gout again

Lucky for us her doctor is open on Saturday, she can't move her arm, because her elbow hurts.
The last time, she had flu like symptoms back in April , she had gout in the foot. So they are trying to figure out how come she is getting this so often, and now in a new part of the body.
I have a bad cough, but had to go with her, she can't drive with her arm, she can't get dressed by her self, her arm hurts and is swollen.

I hope your mom will get better soon. Are there any foods to avoid for gout patient? I think my mom also has gout.

I read that green tea helps prevent gout as it melts down the acid that causes it.

still in pain,right now, just started taking her pills, she had it in the toe, last year.
