Not a good start to the morning

I feel again this morning. This time on the icy sidewalk on my walk to work. I was being careful not to fall because everything was a sheet of ice this morning with the freezing rain we were having. Then all of a sudden my feet just slipped from under me and I went down and hit my head and my upper back onto the concrete. Of course I landed in a puddle cause everything was wet so not only do I have a sore, bruised knee but I also have a sore back and a headache. Plus my pants are all wet..lol Not a good day. Things have got to get better from here.
Hope your day is going better then mine :(

@Juliaacv Thanks I did. I am a bit sore this morning but not too bad. I was still able to get my morning walk in but at a slower pace.

Thank you. Yes being careful doesn't always work. I am in a fair amount of pain. I can't wait to go home and lay down.

oh no i'm sorry to hear this I hope work understood and you were able to stay home after that. If your headache gets worse I would get checked out if you say you hit your head on the ice also. Hope you heal soon

I am still not feeling great, really quite sore but I don't think I got a concussion. My head feels fine now but the rest of my body hurts.

It is so unfortunate that despite all the care you took that did not help. I suppose that slippery ice was just too much. Hope you will soon be back to normal.
