well my pup woke me up at 4 o'clock and wanted outside. as i walked to the kitchen to let him out i discovered he was throwing up at both ends, lucky i didn't step in any of the messes. so we have been up several hours and he seems to be fine now, except now i am still tired but don't want to go back to bed,,,want to be sure he is fine... so i will turn the tv on and watch something and drink coffee and after a little while will be back and my lot////

Yikes! Glad he seems better now. But I'd stay up and keep an eye on him too. Surprisingly today is the only day the last two weeks our car didn't get up early and wake everyone up.

I'm glad you didn't step in anything. I don't do 'messes' too well although it's always me that has to clean anything up. Hope the pup is truly well now.

@hostessman That is so gross - stepping in stuff in the dark that shouldn't be there.

I wish they would get on your schedule! 4am is far too early to have to get up.

Something in his diet must have cause him to throw up. This is one reason why my dogs stay outdoors. They have adequate shelter.

That's what happens with dogs. High maintenance and awakened early.

Poor puppy. I think you should take him to the vet ASAP just to make sure that he's fine.
