How is it in the house if your other half is of a different political party? What is it like if you are liberal and your mate is conservative and vice versa? Is it tense? Convivial? Do you discuss voting choices? Share.

That is enlightening. So, it doesn't disturb you? You are a different few.

If I'd been asked this question two years ago I'd have said it wouldn't be a problem, we'd find areas of agreement when possible and avoid the subject when we couldn't. However, in the Trumpocalypse in which we're currently living I can't even imagine sharing a home and a life with someone who was the opposite of myself.

So divisive politics can divide and cause problems in your home? What happened to avoiding the subject since Trumpocalypse? The trend will pass.

I'm a Libertarian/Independent/No-Party, my roommate is a Democrat. We don't really talk about it, and it doesn't come up; so No problem!
