Sunday was a phone day

Sunday was a phone day Saturday evening we flipped the clocks forward and thought Sunday we would sleep in knowing this stupid flip flop of the clock messes with our body clock and we would need more rest. But 8:30 the phone rang and it was a family member with a melt down. Took us 2 hours to calm them down and things all rosy again. We were just getting breakfast and another phone call, This continued through out the day for one reason or another, Most family, some church members as we are pastors and we observe the 7th day Sabbath. So Sunday is our day to relax. But nothing doing. Most were important calls preparing for up coming church event and two with people we are counseling with. Some we let the phone ring and did not answer but the jangle still is annoying. Most of those from political junk surveys or the like. We block those calls but it still rings once. two from someone just wanting to talk and gossip, we ignored those too because we don't need to gossip or want to hear negative things about others. We know by the number who it is and sure enough she face booked me with junk which I also ignored. By days end with so many calls and trying to get things ready for Monday and hubby's work and just routine things like meals I was exhausted so was he. Finally at 8:00 p.m the jingle jangle had stopped and I sat and played a computer game. Hubby and I talked a bit and got things ready for his work Monday. We did get to bed at 9:00 p.m which was good. Slept well and Monday was a good and quiet day for me. Hubby got home from work and took a nap while I fixed dinner. Have you had phone days like that?
