I used to run when I had a cold to raise my body temperature. Now I just lay around!

No, unless I just had a minor cold. I think feeling sick is your body's way of telling you to take it easy.

I've heard mixed reviews as to whether or not to exercise when still sick, but definitely the high impact/energy intensive stuff is right out.

I don't exercise when I am sick. Well, it depends on the type of illness. But it is not good if you have a cold or a flu.

I listen to my body and when I'm not 100%, I just sit back and rest. Other times, I turn down my exercise a notch or two below.

I think it is ok although you might want to tone it down a bit and not overexert yourself. My body usually will let me know if I am up to it. If its something like the flu I would be to wiped out to try, but with a cold exercise can be tolerated.

No I won't prefer to strain your body at sick times.
