I just got out of the hospital, for my Conjustive heart failure problem. and my sister don't like to, take me to the Emergency room, when I have to go, but when I get home from the hospital she continues to cook with salt, and get up set if I don't eat it, I told her I can;t have salt, she just ignores me, and wants me to eat the salt, I have to talk this over with my doctor, because I don;t like this at all. how am I going to get better, if I don't have my own family, helping me I have to come up with some ideas, to make the salt this work, I will try Mrs Dash and tell her she has to use this on my food, and I will watch her cook, to make sure she uses it.

Make her understand about what's the problem in your body. Tell her about the demerits of taking salt. she will start catching up a bit. You shouldn't avoid eating. Tell her salt is good as long as its within limit. Also tell her about the diseases that is connected to salt. She will understand it.

@TLilly15 pretty unfair...a sister shouldn't treat her brother like this. You have to be hard on yourself and find your own way to healthy life.

She can cook without salt and then each person can add the salt if they want to.

that's really hard to deal with. But you have to watch out for your own health and if salt is no good for you, then don't force yourself to eat what she prepares.

Is it possible that you can prepare your own meals? Make a salad for yourself or cook your own 'unsalted' meals?
