Looking Forward To See My Forsythia

Today is the first day that I can feel the Spring coming down the path.
I saw some tiny daffodil green shots and other little green things coming out of the ground.
But the plant that I am looking forward to see the most is my Forsythia.
Actually I have 9 of them, some are doing better than others.
I also have one lilac plant in the back garden but the shape is not to my liking very much. I might remove it and plant it somewhere else after the flowering. Would also cut it way down.
We have had some warmer months of March before, this one is not the best.
But still, the winter will be done with next Tuesday. Alleluias!

I have a few things in bloom, but the cold came back and I fear it may stop the rest from blooming.

I am looking for spring too, we still have a lot of snow on the ground and it was freezing this morning but not now. I have some tiny snowdrops blooming so that must be a good sign.

I can imagine you'll all be thrilled to see the last of the snow and the cold temperatures.

I love forsythia. We used to have a big bush in the back yard that I pretended that was a tent and played under when I was a kid.

All I see here is lots of snow, with more in the forecast. One of my most favorite signs of spring are pussywillows and I'm considering buying a bush for my back yard.
