Do people really pay for their bad actions before they die

Do you believe in karma,is it really real because I know that good thing happen to bad people and bad things happen to good people as well and funny enough bad people tend to live longer than the good people, even the innocents tend to suffer more for a crime they didn't commit.Do you think we suffered for a crime we committed years back or it just what was meant to be?

We might pay for some but we don't pay for all. However, I feel best when I do good and avoid bad. We will eventually render an account for how we lived. No, there is no Karma as many babies are killed before they are born and some die way too young.

@augusta123 There is no one that is writing down every sin we make and makes sure that we pay for it. Good things happen and so do bad things and there is no one that is balancing them out.

@1hopefulman So no body pays for any sin then, bad things just happen right?

I really don't know but I would like to think it is. I know a couple of people who did very bad things and it seems to have come back on them but then others seem to get away with doing bad things. Maybe their time will come.

Yes, I believe in karma, what we do to the others will always come back to us.

In my opinion, I think people who act badly live longer so that they are given extra time and the opportunity to change their behaviour, whereas those who lived their lives with love have completed their purpose in this lifetime and are relieved early of their suffering. Those with 'bad karma" usually bring it with them into this life from past lives and require a longer time so as to transcend their karma. :-)

With this your ideology don't you think it will instigate people doing bad things to live long after all they will transcends their karma? what do you think?

@augusta123 I said they are given the "opportunity", but that doesnt mean they will take it. They may accrue more karma in this life only to have to face it again in another life.

@Starmaiden so there is no heaven or hell then?so we come back for our karma right?
