Happy St. Patrick's Day! Well you be wearing green? Friend was going to come down today but I am glad I told him not too as I just heard some freezing rain outside. I think tomorrow will be a beeetter day. I am big on celebrating holidays and was going to make an Irish strew today, however somehow I confused mulligan stew with mulligatawney soup. I am making the latter. Does everyone know why St. Patrick is famous? Does anybody care?

We always go to my parents house for St. Patrick's day dinner but things are weird this year. My father's not in town. My sister is going out with her boyfriend. So I think our plan is just my mom and I and the 5 grandkids will be getting together for desserts. That will save a day full of cooking anyway. It is about a half hour until noon and my daughter is still sleeping so ai haven't gotten dressed yet but I will be looking for a green shirt to wear.

Saint Paddy's day is a fun and fine day cause we have tons of Celtic music in our house. Its easy for us to dig some out and play it loud today.

I could play some on Spotify. I don't have any Celtic music that I know of.

Not many people bother with St Patricks but many do. I do. But I am not doing anything special for it. From what I have read I know St Pat was not even born in Ireland lol

@snowy22315 Yes he was born in what was known as ´Britannia´, some say what is now Wales, but there is argument about that.

There are many with Irish backgrounds in the US and probably nearly as many in Australia. The Irish have certainly spread world wide.
