Sunny Day and Here I Sit

The sun is shining brightly today. I am looking out my window wishing the snow to melt away. The reflection of the sun off the snow is eye numbing.
Little Miss is napping and the house is quiet. She has been sleeping for about 90 minutes and soon she will be up and ready to rumble. She didn't nap yesterday and went to bed late so she really needed a nap this afternoon.
We went grocery shopping with her mother this morning. It was nice to have time with my daughter and for her to spend time with us. I dropped her off before we went home. She said she will come back this afternoon when Little Miss wakes from her nap. We shall see.
Shortly I will venture to the kitchen to start a pot of venison stew. That is what we will have for dinner tonight and for one more meal with the leftovers. I also promised a client that I would bring her a bowl of the stew. She hasn't had venison stew in years. It will be a treat for her.
I also have to do some laundry and housework while the stew is cooking. There is always something to be done.
And here I sit.

The stew sounds wonderful. Hope you enjoy your day. Mine is at an end. Our snows have melted and the spring is coming and I am just so sad. What a mess indeed.

I don't look forward to the muddy mess that will come after the snow melts. Our driveway and yard become a marsh.

I remember when I had access to venison. My ex and I would get it for helping to cut it up for my father-in-law.

I have never had venison stew. It sounds yummy.

Some sunshine would be nice. Wednesday was a gorgeous sunny day....since then it's been cloudy, grey and snowy.
Tomorrow promises to be a sunny, bright day.
Enjoy your dinner. I'm about to get up and begin to create one more meal for my sister and my niece.

I have so much to do today as well, but I find myself sitting here watching TV and myLotting. I guess at some point I will get motivated to do something, but for now here I sit.

No nap yesterday, and late to bed last night - yikes! If that was my nieces and nephews, they'd nap for 3 hours today to catch up on sleep. lol. Glad she went down for a nap today though, sure she really needed it.
I'm hoping this means things are a bit better with daughter? And hope she does go back over, long as that's what you wish.
Very nice of you to bring your client some. Enjoy it.
