When friends grow apart

I used to have close friends in my first company, but when i transfered to a new one.. i kind of lost touch with some of them. Even though we still chat every now and then, it seems like we have grown apart and sometimes when i chat in our group, they rarely reply. And in my new company i had new close friends but after we have been put in different projects, we slowly grew apart too. I guess that is just natural, since you get usually get to be close with who you work with at the moment.. but it is still sad.

We create friendships wherever we go and it is rare that you stay close to them for a long period of time. I experienced it too. I can only count in my hands the friends from work that I am still close with. But I prefer it that way. :)

Life goes on like that. Friends happen and then separate. Only a few of them stick around, and those who remain, we work really hard to make sure we always keep in contact. I have got only three friends like that, but our friendship is worth treasuring!

Friends come and come. Someone said that by the time you are in your fifties, your close friends should be no more than 10

If they are really friends, separation is not an excuse not to see each other. I've been there. I have close friends in the company I worked for 5 years and none of them came to visit me in the Hospital when I got sick. How good is that?
