I was able to connect with Patsie's son Robbie on Facebook. I asked him to tell her we all miss her. I also asked about her condition.
I am sharing this information with his permission.
He told me that she fell, and cut her scalp and ended up in the hospital. She fell because she was dizzy, possibly because of pneumonia.
@Hatley was in the hospital, then in a rehab center, and should be back to her home in the retirement center soon. Robbie says he has to call her to find out where she is for sure to let us know.
Usually we do not make posts about one individual here, but we do make posts that are of widespread interest. I think Patsie is of widespread interest to many of us.

It does not surprise me about the pneumonia, as that seems to have been a big problem for many older people this year. I am glad it did not progress further.

@GardenGerty That is true. Sometimes when the elderly get sick it gets worse and worse. I hope she gets better soon. I pray for her every night.

@ramapo17 I do not know about the infection/pneumonia. I think she broke her wrist around March 19.

When people start falling a lot, it is a sign they may have an infection of some sort. I am glad that they got it taken care of.

@GardenGerty Also if she has a bad head cold and that can make one dizzy to. I know all about that. I also have constant ringing in my ears and I sometimes get dizzy. Plus, I am a blonde, and you know what they say about us,,,,, we are dizzy blondes.

I had pneumonia last fall, as well. My dad who is not quite as old as Hatley had it and he got sepsis in his lungs. That is very dangerous.
