I just step out this morning to the balcony looking so weak and dull from not being able to sleep well last night, sat down and holding my head and my dogs ran towards me wriggling their tails, doing some dance moves Lol, jumping and trying to put me in a better mood. They will jump on me and made to run so I can run after them and maybe play with them.
I'm just wondering if they sense my mood and want to liven it up,what do you think?

Dogs are often very sensitive to their owner's mood and well-being. It depends somewhat on the breed and, of course, on how well the dog knows you, but they can often know even before we ourselves do when something is wrong, especially if there is a medical problem. Many dogs trained as helper dogs for people with disabilities can learn to warn thier owners when, for example, an epileptic fit is about to come on. Some dogs have even been trained to detect cancer in its early stages.

@Berrygal And I love it when they give us the shoulders to cry on. I miss my babies. I am doing good, my dear friend. And you?

Pets are close to their masters. So, I think they can sense your mood from your expressions.

yes i believe so. when i am tired, Macy comes to me and holds out her right paw and touches my knee, with ears behind and looks so sad. but she wiggles her tail and that is already good vibrations for me.
