Happy Monday all (or Tuesday for some as well). How goes it so far? It feels good to finally be out of the house after a weekend of hibernation. We got around 15" of snow. Roads are mostly clear which is amazing. (Attachedis Saturday's white out). As part of my training at this new job, I am doing 2 night shifts starting today. I start at 8pm and end at 6am. It has been about 5 months since I have done this. I tried to nap most of the day and take it easy to prepare. Today and tomorrow will be the night shift and the I will have Wednesday off, will do a 2nd shift Thursday and Friday. Kind of messes up my sleep schedule but I will deal with it! How is everyone elses week going? Wish me luck tonight.

Week has been busy and will be the busiest tomorrow when we transfer to our new place. Been packing most of our stuff since last week and we plan to finally finish moving everything tomorrow. And then the unpacking will be for the next several days as well.

Good luck with the night shift. Did the night shift for a long time when I was with a call center. Not. Fun. At. All. I could cope but the trade off isn't worth it.

@maezee I was involved in collections so the calls keep on coming especially since we are using an automated dialer. Plus, the people aren't too thrilled getting our calls so the conversation is always interesting to say the least.

What kind of call center if you dont mind me asking? This is a similar setting. It doesnt help that at this place business slows down incredibly and makes the time go by very slowly.

@Courtlynn No worries. I have come to expect being tired when I need to be awake and awake when I need to be tired on this shift. Ha. Hope you are having a good week.

What exactly is the swing shift? I have heard it but never knew what it meant.

Switching from one shift to another certain days of the week is tougher then doing one shift all the time. Good luck! That's a lot of snow brrr
