That's what Bill Maher told his audience on a recent *Real Time*, in response to (among other things) Molly Ringwald's recent article about how 'un-"woke"' the Hughes-classics (in which she starred) were---how those movies sort of "encouraged" 'wrong behaviors' that were popular at the time.
My summary of the message Bill's delivering : Future people? The past was before! We were 'a little' wrong then ('more-&-more' wrong ...

Do you watch Bill Maher? I don't know what channel he is on. I've not seen him lately but then I don't watch a lot of late night TV.

HBO I set my AT&T U-verse DVR to record every episode of (the HBO-link isn't connecting for me) Real Time with Bill Maher, so the television I watch is all 'whenever I feel like watching it'-TV. (I remember 'the good ol` days' when you could only watch your favorite TV-shows on their schedule )
