Is there anyone from NC, USA here?

I live near Hickory. If ya don't know, it's about 50 miles NW of Charlotte.

Though my family is originally from New Orleans, I have lived in the North Carolina piedmont since I was about three years old, and as far as I am concerned, I love it here enough to never want to live anywhere else unless wherever I moved to had enough similarities in terms of climate, weather patterns, and of course people and patriotism. Nice to see more fellow North Carolinians here...

Hubby is going this summer to check things out in Wake County. I hear they have some great schools for kids. If he likes what he sees, than we will make the move this summer. he is also going to check out surrounding counties too. If anyone has any advice feel free to add me to your friends list and I will add you too and we can mail back and forth.

North Carolina here! I am from an area north of Winston-Salem (close to the VIrginia state line), though originally from Caldwell County (closer to the Tennessee side of the state). I have been all through the state and find the foothills are my favorite. The coast is really nice, but I prefer South Carolina's coast.

I currently live in Alexander County (Hiddenite) with my husband. He was born and raised in North Carolina (Hickory), while I'm a transplant and have been here for 7 years.
