5lbs of strawberries

I bought 2 large packs at the grocery store for 50% off. I paid $6 total normally $12. Iam unsure what i want to do. I may freeze half then chop up the other half. I was debati g jam.

Looooove strawberries!! Maybe make some homemade jam, a smoothie or ice cream!! Even strawberries and cream!!!!

Whatever you decide to do, enjoy! Making jam is always fun, but then-having some in the freezer would be nice too.

That's a mighty lot of strawberries! Unfortunatly, strawberries don't freeze well raw (they go mushy), so it's best to stew them a little before freezing. I do them (on the rare occasion when I've had too many to use immediately) with a very small amount of water and no sugar on a low heat and then freeze them in their own juice. They can then be used for desserts or jam later by adding what sugar is required.

How about Strawberry Jam? Strawberries are so expensive here in Korea.
