It has been a good week so far

I have been really enjoying my time with my grand daughters. I spend a lot of time with Destinee but I rarely get to spend time with the other girls so I have been really getting to know them better. I almost hate to see the week come to an end. It is really going by quickly.
It feels good at the end of the day to come home from work and get to sit around the dinner table and talk about our day. It is all those little things that I miss now that my own kids are grown. This week has been so great for me. I hope I get to do it again sometime.
My daughter called and they are having a great time. The weather is great and they have met lots of people at the resort where they are staying. It is nice that they were able to get away for some time alone time. With three kids and both working opposite shifts they don't have a whole lot of time for just the two of them.
I haven't been online much because I have been so busy with the girls and doing all the household chores that need to be done. Laundry never ends it seems.

I'm glad you're having a great time with your granddaughters. I'm also glad your daughter is having a good time away at the resort. Sounds like they needed it, and so did you need the time to catch up with your grandchildren. I hope you make many memories this week.

I remember the laundry when my children were growing up. Lol
I've arrived...now to unpack the things I brought and get ready for the moving van to arrive.

@Happy2BeMe . Whenever I have the grandkids for a few days I'm shocked at how much laundry they generate....then I remember...when my children were small I think I did some laundry almost every day.

Yes it can be difficult but it works for them for now. My daughter is hoping to go back to school next year and go into nursing.

Grandchildren are a delight! It's hard to be online when you have real life to enjoy!! Good for you! I have 4 that are all grown up but now a brand new one just seven months old! I'm very luckiy!
