Peelabanda

That was what the dream of a few nights ago told me to remember. The word was spelt out to me very clearly, p-e-e-l-a-b-a-n-d-a ! I woke up, thought about it, and asked one of my young relatives later if she knew what that word was about or if she knew any children movies or books (which she had watched or read) that had it. She giggled. Perhaps it was a mix of Peter Pan and "blah-blah-blah" which my muddled brain and all the anxieties which I had had lately created? (NB. LadyDuck pointed out that there is a place in Italy called Palabanda. Some witchcraft was used to ask me to come to the next coven .) ---- Happy May everyone, hope the weather where you are right now is wonderful to you. I have an anxious month ahead with this and that on my plate. Please cross your fingers for me so that I will get out of this month victoriously. (or at least, survive it .)

@vandana7 I am taking over from a colleague while she is on a month leave. I am worried of not being good enough.

Now I begin to wonder! I did buy a lot of bananas and left them in the kitchen... but I did buy lots of apples too. The word should have been peelbanappla or something similar .

Like @andriaperry , I was thinking "peel a banana" too (like how a baby would say it) . Funny what your brain can conjure up in a dream - but it's possible some part of it comes from real life (whatever peelabanda is ). Best of luck with May . . . I hope we both survive it!! So until you figure out what peelabanda is, let's just think it's something positive - it'll be a peelabanda month !!

If you thought I would search for the word I will not. That is for you to do and get back and tell us if such a word exists. Good Luck

I don't think the word itself exists, but LadyDuck just pointed out that a similar version of that one (Palabanda) does, a place in Italy. Perhaps I am supposed to go there to find my destiny .

You can add the word to your vocabulary and use it repeatedly. Maybe it will spread and find its way into a dictionary one day.

@YrNemo That is one good thing about having rains. My mom would get relaxed when it rains too.
