Any Amazon Prime Members Here?

Lately I have been ordering a lot of items on Amazon; mainly non-perishible grocery items, that my husband and I don't feel like looking for in the grocery store. Also, a few larger things (cases of Coke, etc) that we don't feel like lugging home on the bus. While it's nice to have things delivered, it's not always convenient to wait a week and a half for something that most people can get the same day, if they choose to go buy it at the store. After some serious consideration, Hubby and I decided to pay for a year of Amazon Prime. We figure if we get in the habit of ordering certain things on Amazon Prime, we'll be able to save money on cab fare, not going to the grocery store as often, and our payment for Prime should pay for itself within two or three months. Who else on here is a Prime Member? How do you like it? What do you like the best, and what don't you like about it? We'll see how they live up to their fast shipping. We get our first Prime order delivered on Tuesday.

I am a Prime member on my son's account. I guess you can have two other households on your account when you sign up, but I'm not sure how that works. I order quite a bit more from Amazon now (which is what they intended) and it's really nice to not have to pay shipping. Everything that's Prime eligible comes here within two days and that's really nice, too. The only thing I don't like about it is that it's too easy to order things that I wouldn't otherwise.

I’ve thought about the temptation factor, but my cheapness can talk melody of that one. I also keep my debiting account separate from my regular checking, so if I want to buy, I have to transfer money to that account first. That definitely fits dien kn tbevtemptatiin:

@danishcanadian I am pretty cheap, too but it still gets the best of me, especially when things are hard to find locally. Keeping your money separate is a smart way to do it.
