''Believe Me'' DOES NOT Mean 'Know that What I'm Saying is True,' but Rather 'Know that I Will Act According to It'

That's why news-media people think Donald Trump's Twitter-page counts as "a source"---even though they regularly report on 'how wrong he is' (makes me sick! how they'll open a report with 'Donald Trump said something on Twitter' ) But the distinction between 'believe me' and 'agree that what I'm saying is 'fact"'---I've wanted to clarify this since the first time I saw 'comedy-news-reports' (Stephen Colbert, Trevor Noah, Seth Meyers, etc.) string together recordings of Trump saying "Believe Me." But what finally convinced me was 'thinking about it while looking at a Partners-Letter from Kenneth Copeland (of Kenneth Copeland Ministries). In it, he was saying all this 'feel good'-stuff (God loves you, God gives you all the good things you need, etc.); but was giving no "proof" except 'that The Bible says things' (and a lot of it wasn't even its 'history'-writings, but rather it's "love letters to God"-writings or it's "Church Propaganda" ... I'll probably write a few discussions on 'those Bible sections'). The point is that I don't 'know that what he's saying is "true",' but I do know that (in essence ... i.e. whether he believes the things or not) he 'gets paid to make such claims and -to go along with the story (with others who get paid to do the same).' Oh, believe me! He calls it "donations," and the people who pay for it call the money "donations" (because they are "donations" ... donors often get 'donations in return'--the partner-letters, a magazine-subscription, invitations to various http://www.kcm.org/events/kenneth-copeland-and-you-the-mountain-summer-2018 believer-conventions, the occasional recording, etc.--but donors give whether-or-not they receive anything in return!) Kenneth Copeland lives in a huge mansion! If that comes from 'money he got for believing and preaching and teaching and disciple-ing the News of The Bible,' what more "proof" do you need?

Oh yes - I highly dislike when people talk in absolutes
