It's Mother's Day here in the USA, and I want to stop by and wish those of you who celebrate a perfectly happy and wonderful day.
I've been celebrating all weekend and feel so blessed. I am so blessed to have a wonderful husband who made me a mommy, two thoughtful and loving sons, and two fabulous and caring daughters-in-law, all of whom make every day a blessing.
Mother's Day should be celebrated every day, and not just one day of the year.
So for those that are moms, have a mom, are mommies to pets, or are just relaxing, I want to wish you all very wonderful day.

Thank you, I can say, since for a number of years I was both Dad and Mom to my daughter from age 6.

@JamesHxstatic It must have been difficult, but she seems to have turned out very, very well and has become a fine young lady. You did well and should be very proud!

I am not into celebrating 'days' as you have rightly pointed it should be celebrated every day be it mother, father, daughter.........................................

Thank you and the same to you! It was one of the best of them all, especially since I have a new daughter-in-law and her mother, father, brother, and sister in the family. Our little family keeps growing. My boys and girls got me the flowers. Our younger son used the same person who did his wedding. She and he chose each flower personally. I thought that was so sweet.

I see you've gotten a few beautiful surprises .... ok, maybe not so much of a surprise but stilllllll....................
Thank you for including those of us with furbabies, we are the luckiest ones because furbabies say thank you everyday.
I hope you'll get many more wonderful surprises and hopefully Doodles will give you the best one, how is he doing?

Many thanks! I always wind up with unexpected surprises, even when I beg not to get any. What's a girl to do? Lol!
Doodles seems either hyper or very sleepy, and I think it may be due to his meds. One thing for sure is that he is pretty quick outside. He caught his third chipmunk, and they are darn fast. Now, I am doing everything to stop him from catching those cute little guys.

Belated Happy Mother's Day to you. 
I spent it by going to our hometown to take care of our mother. My sister and I shampooed and conditioned her hair and bathed her. It was one of our ways of showing how much we love her. We made her laugh (she now laughs with sound) with our jokes. Her laughter made us all so happy that she is gradually recovering from her stroke.
Hubby understands why I have to be with her. We will celebrate anytime soon.

Thank you, Dianne. I would usually say I hope your day was nice too, but I already know it was special.
My weekend was special to although I wasn't able to spend it with my daughters as they had an out of town wedding a and we celebrated a surprise birthday with my brother in Arizona.

@DianneN We did and was he ever surprised. He just couldn't get over it. I was especially excited as I've not been back to visit him since I got to go thirty years ago just weeks before getting married.
My husband and I are hopeful that we can visit again in another couple of years and maybe we'll move out there rather than Tennessee or KY, although I somewhat want to be closer to my church. So we'll see what works out.
