Are your measurements exact when it comes to coffee?

Do you measure your coffee when you make it or are you simply a person who eyeballs the quantity when you put it in? I am an eyeballer and don't pay attention to formal measurements or scoops when making coffee. I know about how much coffee I need to put in the filter to make coffee I like. Sometimes I will make it a bit stronger or weaker than I intended, but most of the time it is just about right. What about you, measurer or no?

We have a Keurig so no measuring required.

I hated the Keurig. I gave mine away. I always drink multiple cups of coffee and at the time I had mine..it was only designed for one cup consumption.

We use our Keurig, so no need for measuring. When we use our other coffee pots, my husband does the measuring. I know he measures exactly.

I am both. But I think my 'averaging' ability is over 90%...and it gets better with practice.

I use about three tea spoons for about 8 cups. But I am not sure how it is made to better suit me. I am truly wondering though if I could manage a cup today from my neighbor. She used pods and syrup of some kind. I am going to have to figure something out. It's been a few weeks now that i had none in my unit. I have to tie the coffee in a filter and boil it on the stove. My lovely daughter broke the coffee pot.

@snowy22315 No I am not sure since it was a smaller pot. i will say I don't like the taste of the coffee that is why I was addicted to the creamer. I love the flavor and the hint of coffee. I would love to try your way and see how I love it. When i make it for others I use more.

When I made coffee, when I was married, I never measured. I knew how much to make for him. He was a three pot a day coffee drinker.

I dont measure my coffee exactly. Like you I know how many teaspoons/tablespoons make a perfect cup. So I estimate how many make a perfect pot. And I am always right on.

I wouldn't say my coffee is always perfect, but it is always in the ballpark..The cup I am drinking now could use a scoch more coffee..but it is good.
