Hi everyone! Sorry it's been awhile since I've been on. Busy busy as usual. Last Monday I started my 4th "new job" within a year, but at least this time I did not switch companies. I saw that there was an opening for a loan processor, and I applied. I didn't expect to get the position as I haven't been with the company for very long, actually this week it will be 6 months. But lo and behold they offered me the job anyway. So this past week I've been learning my new role. I sit at a computer all day and just work work work. It's never slow, actually it can be difficult to keep up and there's always work leftover to do the next morning bright and early. I work for a super busy credit union. I love that I no longer have to work "customer service". It's not all bad, but sometimes people can be mean, or rude, or snotty.. or just whatever cause it's who they are. For the past few years I've been struggling to keep a smile on my face while people are treating me like I'm beneath them just because I'm on this side of the counter. So I am thrilled to be out of that. My job is a little boring since I don't have people to talk to anymore, and I do like to talk... but there's always something to do so the time goes by so quickly. Also, did I mention that hubby started at the same company about a month ago? Well, we now work in the same building, so we can ride in together most of the time (except this week he is scheduled in earlier than me so we're riding separately). If our schedules allow we can have lunch together too. So there's lots of perks to this new job and I'm enjoying it all so far... oh and I got a bit more money too. It wasn't a huge raise, but more money is more money! Also I believe I should be getting some nice bonuses each month, but I'll have to wait and see on that because nobody, not even my manager, has much info on that (she's kinda new to her position too and still working things out). Anyway, tell me everything I missed... what has been going on with you? Anything new and exciting to share?

I'm so glad you and your husband got this new job. It sounds much, much better than doing Customer Service. Best of luck to you both. It's so good seeing you again.

Customer Service is a job that I could never do. I think you are lucky as you could get another job.
