It was very humid yesterday. Usually, when it is humid, it is going to rain later. Last night, deafening thunder and blinding lightning struck the town. The non-stop actions lasted for 30 minutes. Then there was silence, and rain has begun to pour.
Then, the eyes started to shut, and the brain to rest.
In other words, it was a good sleep, yes!
*** Have you ever tried to take a photo of the lightning? It's quite challenging. It took me hundred times before I was able to take one. The second picture was not morning or afternoon shot but also evening. That's how strong the lightning was. ***

I was just so proud of myself that I was able to capture this picture, I had been trying to take picture of the lightning for a long time but these were the best ones.

Wow, you captured a good one. Are you scared of lightning? I try to go inside as I have heard of people being struck and killed by lightning.

yes a bit scared especially at night when it is sharp and with thunder. but I know I will be safe in my place because I was in the balcony when I took the shot. thanks. I had a lot of pictures taken ... it was just really a good timing.

thanks to no film nowadays we can take shots as many as we can. and we don't like it is easy to delete. keep trying but be careful.

In some Chinese belief, it is the last trial on this realm. The body of the cultivated (it can be human, objects or even animals) will be striked by the lightning. (Cultivation is against the nature and hence we have such type of trials)
If it is successful, they will ascend to next higher realm (note not heaven) and continue their cultivation.
If they failed, they will die from the lightning strike

You will not be based on the legend unless you are cultivating.
These days proven that it is not true. Lightning strike everyone if given a chance to do so

@id_peace oh yeah that's true, old saying, lightning strikes in one place only but once,but some studies said it can strikes more than once in a place over and over again.

a bit scary... but yeah why not it is a belief. One thing for sure, not now, I hope I will not be struck by the lightning.

Thor just left after delivering his EVERY August afternoon storm in Fort Lauderdale and Miami--now it is humid (more so after the storm), the sun is out and the flooded streets will be dry as if he wasn't ever here!

this is the problem with rain, it is also so humid before we and after we have the rain, especially if the rain is just little.

it was a bit difficult. it is good that we have it digital now that if we don't like the shot we can delete. if I am using a film it would be a waste

@Mavic123456 right. we do not have to say 'cheese' anymore because selfies is already famous this time. the phone's camera or digital cameras are better than those that still need films 110, 125, and 136, or the polaroid.
