Another day, another 50 cents..well at least in the mylot world that is the case! I was just outside and saw deer wandering around in the yard again. One of them heard me and I could tell he was getting ready to alert the other deer, but I think he decided I wasn't too much of a threat, because he didn't stomp hard on the ground. The deer around here look so healthy, I think they get lots to eat! Where I used to live, it was in an urban area,,but my development had a 40 acre woods surrounding it. There were walking trails back there and you wouldn't believe all the animals I saw..they were all compressed into that little area. Every time on a walk I would see someting. There was even a beaver dam. Do you see animals in your area?

I see squirrels, coyotes, opossum, raccoons, skunk.

I have yet to see a coyote, at least one I could positively identify as such..but they are in this county. I might have seen one on the road one time. It would not suprise me to see one, but they are basically nocturnal as far as I know.

Oh neat, it would be so much fun to see a monkey! My nephew visited the monkey jungle in Bali.

We have quite a bit of wildlife here since its countrified. Deer are pretty common here but cause havoc running across roads. My biggest fear is hitting one

Yeah, it is no fun, the one and only time I had a run in with a deer, and (it wasn't here) a deer bournched off my car. I saw it on the side of the road splayed out..when I returned from dropping off my kid client it was no longer there. I think it just picked itself up, dusted itself off and ran into the woods!

Yeah we have the geese and turkeys too..and pheasants..Plenty of game birds.

It really wouldn't surprise me that much to see almost any kind of animal here. Well other than cougars or animals not found in this region. I would be kind of scared to see a bear in the woods behind me though, or worse, at my barbecue grill..

@snowy22315 Here in my town there is a small, but dense jungle some 5 k.m.away from my house.There you can easily see foxes,rabbits,jackals and hyaenas.
