Looking Forward to the LONG Weekend

Happy Friday Everyone! It's a holiday weekend here in the US (Memorial Day) so Monday is officially the holiday.
We have sunshine here today but it doesn't look like the sun will shine for the whole weekend and rain will make an appearance once again. This has been one soggy month of May.
I had to go to the store this morning to get some things I need to get through the weekend (staples and of course snacks).
My son in law and grandson are coming tomorrow morning to power wash the deck. My daughter and I are trying to get the chairs and side tables into the garage so that he has a clear surface to work. I hate for him to have to move stuff when he has enough to do. Luckily the stuff that needs moving isn't heavy and I purposely didn't plant any flowers etc until after the deck gets done.
Next weekend both my sons in law and my son will restain the deck and then it will be done for the summer. Once it's finished then I'm going to plant some flowers and maybe some veggies in pots and see what I can grow on the deck if I haven't missed the season yet.
Otherwise, nothing much is new here.
I'm sure the weekend will fly by.

No nothing right off, we are supposed to get rain from the tropical thing in the gulf, all weekend. If so I will stay in and do something inside.

This has been a very soggy month and hope June is full of sunshine and flowers. My deck is also getting that moss so I'm glad it's getting power washed and then restained next weekend

Nothing special. My daughter and I just stayed home all day today. Tomorrow we'll attend Sunday mass. I am not pretty sure if my husband has plans after going to the church.

That is a busy weekend for you all and i hope everything goes as planned for you and the family. I have to go to the store tonight and hopefully jsut rest tomorrow till the boyfriend calls and asks me to come over when he is back to the hotel then i will see him and stay the night as we may have a friend coming over for a little to hang out. Then sunday i have nothing to do and he is going to see his son and play with him and go to a party with a friend then Monday since there is no work i will be going to be with him and probably just hang out and possibly go do something and spend the night again with him so i hope my weekend goes good and everything goes as planned for me.
I will help my mom around the house tonight and tomorrow during the day as well. Alot needs to be done around the house as well.

Happy Friday!
Its a hot and humid day here today and I believe that there is a chance of rain in our forecast for tomorrow. But that's alright, we don't have any plans except for going to eat out on a patio somewhere tonight for supper.
But we just have a regular weekend, we had our holiday weekend last weekend.
Enjoy the deck once its all cleaned up.

Happy Memorial Day weekend! I hope you enjoy it. Here it is apple blossom weekend in the Annapolis Valley. That is a celebration of Nova Scotia's main agricultural production. Others include strawberries, blueberries and grapes.
