I want to a holiday recently. Though the trip was awesome it made me tan my whole body. My skin tone has gone down by two shades. Can anyone suggest a home remedy for removing the tan ?

Europeans and people of European origin on other continents pay a lot of money to get a suntan! :-)

Lemon juice. Cut a lemon and rub a slice on your tanned skin

This is a cultural difference as here we work hard to get a tan and do not understand why anyone would want to remove one. Doesn't anyone like themselves just the way they are?

@amitkokiladitya - well, less exposure to the sun means less tanning going on or maintaining the tan.

You can use honey with baking soda. Leave it for 10 to 20 mins. Then rinse it off. Maybe it may work

@amitkokiladitya yed very safe. Just put 1 teaspoon and honey. I use them to remove some blemish in my arms even my face but don't let it stay long 10 mins woukd do. You can check it out in youtube how to do it. Even tbaking soda with water can be use only but honey gives niurishment that't why i use it with baking soda
