Are you crazy about celebrities? / myLot

I remember when I was a kid one of my classmate used to tease me that he has met with top celebrities of those times and used to envy. But now when I think I feel that how fool I was what will happen if someone meets a celebrity. I wonder why people are so eager just to see them. Are they someone special? Still I see people waiting for a long just to have a glimpse of them. Are you the one who feel happy to have a glimpse of them or you don't care even if they pass you. I am sort of a person who don't like to stand in the crowd to see them. I myself is a celebrity

I am not crazy about them , we often get to meet many film actors who own race horses and attend races...initially I used to be happy but not any more now! Thanks!

I probably wouldn't bother about making a special effort to catch a glimpse of a celebrity. Mostly they are pretty normal people.

You are a celebrity in your own right. I've met so many, had dinner with several, went to parties with them, etc. They were all just like the rest of us, but with much more money.

@sjvg1976 I was an extra in a movie here in Jerusalem a long time ago and some of the celebrities came and David Soul was one of them and I was not at all impressed with him. I am not obsessed with them. There are some I really like as actors or actresses.

I used to work in a television studio. That knocks any "celebrity worship" out of you very quickly.

I do not care at all about celebrities. They are people like we are, I cannot see the reason to waste time in the crowd to see them.
