Son Taken from Parents

I can hardly believe this but I read it in the paper today. A couple gave their son age fifteen marijuana to smoke to relieve seizures that prevented him from riding his bike and other activities common to teenagers. For 71 days he was able to ride his bike and other activities until their son was taken away from his parents.
He's now in a group home and his seizures have returned and he's separated from the dog that sniffed out his seizures and protected him.His parents face charges and possibly jail time. They say it was worth it to see their son as a normal child for 71 days and they have no regrets. The parents say authorities want to argue the legality of marijuana rather than taking care of the child. And I for one agree with them.

This is a mess! We know some who are being "saved" by such products. Most here have heard the story of Charlotte, the video on Youtube with Sanjay Gupta found under Charlotte's Web.
If products work, they work. Why are we continually lied to.

@JamesHxstatic That's what we need in Georgia. And we could if these politicians would open their eyes.

I hope the courts act on this quickly but I imagine when he is 16 he is free to live wherever he wants to.

If he is having seizure like Charlotte in the Charlotte's Web story on Youtube, these would make him too disabled to do anything, even feed himself. Charlotte was having 300 each week before being given a product deemed illegal in many places.

@PatZAnthony I don't know if the boy was having that many but he was having them often and couldn't join in activities, ride his bike or go anywhere. He had the 71 days to do anything he wanted before he was taken away..

I am with the parents. Glad that it is legal in Oregon, but parents could still have a problem giving it to a minor.

So much for the families staying together. It must be those evil globalists behind this ruse.
