PDA in front of young children is wrong

I heard this story the other day. A life guard at a public pool had to really blow his whistle and tell a heterosexual couple and a homosexual couple to "break it up",, "separate yourselves" because they were practically making out at the public pool where a whole bunch of young kids were swimming. He said that one of the people , kept staring at him in a mean type way, for a good long time. He said, he didn't let it bother him because they were acting very indecent in public and defiling young children. He said his boss supported his calling them out and if he hadn't done it, she would have. What surprises me, is that one person who kept staring at him, like, they should have been able to do what they wanted to do. Anybody with any sense about them, should know that you don't do sexual maneuvers in a public place especially in front of kids. What is wrong with some people? Were they never taught right from wrong?

I'm tired of that junk. It's stupid. What also annoys me is inappropriate language in front of kids. I walked by my apartment complex pool, and there are teenage boys telling out the "f" word in front of five and six year olds. And the moms of the little kids look too intimidated to object. Quite frankly, so am I! They are too big to risk it. I'm pretty sure I'm going to talk to the apartment manager. The mind looked very distressed.

I agree, the bad words coming out of some teens mouths in front of smaller kids is sickening.

Actually, probably not (been taught right from wrong). Today's "relaxed" styles and tendency to talk about anything has grown into an "everything goes" idea where everyone thinks they have the right to do whatever they want whenever they want. It's getting worse, so prepare yourself.

I agree. I did hear from one of the girls who just graduated from the local high school in town, she said she was so ready to graduate because it has gotten a lot worse discipline wise in just the past couple of years since my sons graduated from there.

@LeaPea2417 It's been said that the "older generation" always complains about what the world is coming to, but I don't think any generation, unless it was in Sodom and Gomorrah, had to deal with the kinds of things we see today. When even the kids can see the difference, something is very wrong.

There is a time and place for PDA. Putting on a show like that is in poor taste to say the least. I have often heard the expression "get a room" when couples do PDA. How about the privacy of your own home I am sure a room could be found there....

I think they should be charged for this. You can't watch the TV with your own kids, you can't take them out because of these practices. What the hell is going on with these people.

I agree. I am thinking if they didn't obey the lifeguard, he could have called the police.

@LeaPea2417 They should be aware of the people around them, they can do that thing privately.

One should behave decently with kids and strangers around. I cannot understand how people can be so stupid.

@leapea2417 Thank you for not posting any pictures of this!! And yes, there’s a time and a place and a public swimming pool is neither.

Hi Anne. Some people are really insensitive. They think their house is so big that the pool is an extension of their house.
