I just got off the phone. It was a good call and really the only thing I had to do this morning. It looks like its going to storm pretty good throughout today so I'm going to read and work on some reviews and articles. Hopefully it wont be raining when I go to check the mail at 115. Yesterday I nearly fell and jarred my arm.
I took chicken out for tonight. I'm hoping ill feel like cooking this evening.
I am hoping that my ebay order gets here Saturday. I'm kind of impatient when it comes to packages. I did get a notification that it shipped. So that's cool..
What is everyone else up to today?

Our mail never comes at the same time. It used to be punctual but now it could be anywhere between 3 pm and 5 pm. We've gotten into the habit of checking it at six.
I am impatient when it comes to packages as well, especially if I am able to track them.
I started my own laundry and dusted the cabinet doors of the kitchen. I really need to rearrange a few of the shelves. One family member will put the dishes back all willy nilly and it drives me a bit insane.

Our roommate does that. It drives me crazy too.
Ups is the one that bugs me because sometimes they don't come till 8 at night.

@thislittlepennyearns UPS comes here around 8 pm as well. It might say "Delivery expected between 1-3 but it's always 8 pm. Well, there have been a few occasions when I wasn't expecting the package to come that day and those are the times when it's there early.
I've also had occasions where I've had to stay awake (when I worked outside the home) for a package all day only to find out that I didn't need to sign for it. Though the website informed me I would have to sign. That was annoying.
My uncle doesn't do it intentionally. He just doesn't think about it because he doesn't care.

I'm making chicken and corn on the cob for dinner tonight. A co-worker brought in an entire bushel of fresh-picked corn from her garden today. Oh, and I found out that those tomatoes another co-worker brought in earlier in the week were indeed Roma tomatoes. Looks like we've started some kind of competition where everybody is trying to outdo each other with the fresh, home-grown veggies!

@thislittlepennyearns I'm really thinking about barbecuing this weekend. I grabbed a lot of ears of corn from work today, so I have plenty for a cookout. I have tons of hamburger meet, chicken, ribs and bacon in the freezer. I'm debating whether to BBQ this weekend, or wait until 4th of July.

Sounds like you have planned a nice laid back day today. I've already gone for my morning walk and now I'm home relaxing for the day. I have dishes and laundry to do then maybe a nap before my nephew's playoff game tonight. It's windy and 75 degrees here today.
