I’ve never been this scared!

I was still in bed when I felt my world shake. The sudden jolt left me immobile. My brain was telling me to hide under the table or get my passport and run or something like that but I couldn’t move. The longest one minute of my life and the strongest earthquake I’ve ever experienced happened this morning in Osaka, Japan. Broken dishes and fallen shoe racks kept me busy for a while. Two of my colleagues were stuck on the train. Turning on the TV was a big mistake. News reports about the kid who couldn’t escape the crumbling wall made me sick to my stomach. She was just on her way to school, maybe thinking of happy thoughts and then suddenly... Life is certainly uncertain. Take care everyone.
PS. As of now, we can still feel tremors. Scary!

I keep reading about earthquakes but this is the first time I get to know about it from the person who has experienced it.
How long did it last?

Oh no! Everytime an earthquake happens, I am reminded of the 1990 earthquake here in our country, so scary. Stay safe and pray.

Oh, my goodness! I am certainly glad that a bit of house cleaning is all you needed to do after going through the earthquake!
I had heard about the quake, but didn't realize any of my friends had gone through it.
I really don't pay enough attention to things that happen around the world. It doesn't help that myLot is right here on my pc, so my friends can't possibly be in danger in other parts of the world. (Weird as this is to say, that is really how most people look at the internet, including me. *shake my head*)

Oh, what a scary experience you had that day. And good thing, no serious damages were noted in your apartment. But that news about the kid on her way to school is so saddening.
I think your scare is understandable since in Japan, earthquakes are big ones. Stay safe always, Sol.
