I had to go into town today so I took the recycling in and I got $12.65, not to bad for my trash.
After the post office I had to run by a business office and there is when knowing people came in handy, I had thought they would give me some type of problem, I do know the manager but I did not want to use that card if not needed. Well, it wasn`t needed because she seen me an Tony and invited us into her office where she took care of us, no problems at all. I love knowing people.
While out we ate at Captain D`s, I had a coupon two 3 piece meals for $9.69, I always give Tony a piece of my fish, I used the recycle money to pay for dinner.[em]happy[/em
I wanted to mow grass when got back but it had rained so I picked blackberries. Tomorrow will have to be grass mowing day, all these evening showers had made it grow like crazy.
How was your day?

Here I can get paid for every tin can, soda can, cardboard and paper I use. But glass and plastic? nope!

@andriaperry good for you. We have to recycle the glass, plastic, and aluminum. I think we are supposed to recycle paper too but I always put it in the bottom of Scarlett's cage so that disqualifies it. My husband burns the cardboard in his outside stove.

This evening we went for a drive and got Sonic shakes, half price after 8. We drove around the lake a couple of times and did a little driving around town. If it does not rain tonight, I will mow tomorrow. I got all my herbs planted and started a new small flower bed.

@andriaperry I think it was just a build up from no break. The nights were only going into the high 70s if that.

I like the title you used. I wish I knew the right people to help me with certain things but since I do not I am on my own and that is very hard.

Over the years I have always been nice to people, spoke to them in public, even not when they were working.

I know some people with businesses but they cannot help me with what I need to do now. I had someone help me once but she is gone and the other person that helped I do not see her much. So, now I am alone in what to do and that is not much fun.

We had a humid and hot day yesterday but today it's better with no humidity. Thunderstorms came through last night but it really didn't cool it off much.
Sounds like you had a good day all the way around. Yum blackberries

They are all changing from red to black and its hard to keep them picked, they grow wild here on my land and I love preserving them, with jam and jelly, just in a jar for pies or freezing for topping with fresh berries.

Yesterday I had an ok day. I vacuumed a little bit in the living room and cleaned the vacuum parts. I did some work, but I was sleepy so I took a nap. I read some. Today I need to move some stuff to get ready for my couch to come tomorrow. I will read later too.

Do you make jam with the berries? Never heard of Captain D's. I don't know how you get money for recycling but that's awesome!

Although the gauge said 91 degrees F, it felt like 110 F!
