How Is The World Today?

And how is your part of the world today? Today, the first day of summer here where we live in Canada. Something that we have been waiting for so long. I have 2 errands this morning: one is to go to City Hall and pay our municipal taxes which keep growing and growing. The other errand is to return some tops that I bought but decided they don't feel that good on me, so back they go. Might stop to buy a few fruits and vegetables after that. The rest of the day will be to enjoy the first day of Summer. Happy Day.

It is first day of summer and it shows, hot and sunny, but with a bit of breeze, not too bad. I went grocery shopping this morning. We like fresh fruits in summer.

@marlina This is so sad. I heard thunder during the night, but we woke up to a hot sunny day. I should go out to pick up my eye drops at the pharmacy, but I wait that the temperature cools down a bit.

It is now a couple of days later but we have to enjoy the brief summer. I bought some cherries from Washington yesterday and they were so delicious that I will be going back to get some more.

I didn't go outside yesterday because it was hot. I did some work and read some. My mother came to bring me a custom made scratching post. It stormed last night. Today I went to get the mail and put some stuff back on the porch. I feed some kittens next door. I hope to read some and maybe go grocery shopping later.

Romania is dealing with the abuse of the ruling party how appears that has in mind to change the face of the country by power abuse and other communist technics. We are really angry after more than 500 days of protesters. And there are many yet to come. The fist day of summer find us sad, disappointed and tired :(

This morning nearly Ten thousand people gathered at Stonehenge to welcome the summer solstice. The sun rose at 04:52 and today will be the longest day of the year. Sadly after today it will get darker a minute a day! Downward count now to Autumn and darker nights.

@marlina In my part of the world life goes on but we have those that do not want the one and only Jewish State here so try anything to get rid of us but they cannot do it. They keep trying and we are still and will always be here weather they like it or not.
