I am an avid reader as I am sure many of you here on myLot also are. Sometimes I feel as though I could pitch a tent inside the library and be happy there reading my life away. There are so many books out there I know I will never be able to read as many as I want. However I will make that old college try. What's going on with you today? In my happy little world I will be inside. It will be in the 90's today, way too hot for me. So I will be sitting back enjoying the air conditioning, reading (big surprise, I know), writing, and researching. I know what you're thinking. Yep, she's doing the same old same old. That's ok, I like my life. Besides, at least I will be cool and my faithful companion (my little Luke) will be quietly by my side.

My greatest fear is going into Barnes and Noble and getting locked in at night because of all the books they have, but boy what a wonderful fear that one is. All the books at my disposal, and a couch to read/sleep on until they open the doors the next morning.

That would be a dream come true. Over night wouldn't be long enough. I think I could happily spend the rest of my life right there.

It is impossible to read all the books....that is why they are categorized as fiction and non fiction. Most of the non fiction books are either text books or reference Books which comes handy when needed. In fiction section as per our liking we can read the books as and when we get time! I personally purchase a book and keep it my library to read it when I get time! Thanks!

If I'm inside the story of the book, sometimes I forgot to eat. I just want every page to read.

I feel the same way. I used to make a list of the ones I wanted to try to get to. My fantasy is having one of those old fashioned libraries where it is wall-to-wall books and a sliding ladder to get to them. I would hunker down in the bay window box and read until I fall asleep.

Books are our spiritual food. The library is a good place in hot summer. I'm going to take my child to the library, too.

Having nothing to read is torture. Once I was in Italy with my husband. He is Italian. We didn't stay with the family as usual but were on a camping site. I had taken several books with me but finished them sooner than I had expected. I can read Italian newspapers but not books. Literary Italian is too difficult for me. I asked German campers if they could give me something - anything - to read! I did indeed get some books. They were of a kind I'd never read at home but I read them because I was desperate. :-)
