I walked out to Fairview to pick up some beer and groceries. I passed a couple walking the other way, closer to my home than the mall. Nothing wrong with that, right? After doing my shopping, I walked home again, and when I was about at the same spot I had passed that couple, I passed them again, again going the opposite direction to me. What are the chances?

Things like that happen to me regularly. They were probably out for a long walk and met you both going and coming. I have a neighbor that I meet every day either on the elevator, or coming up the path as I'm going down, (or vice versa). Not a day goes by that I don't meet this woman somewhere in my daily travels.

I meet people when I am walking around the little lake in town. So, of course I meet most of them again and I can always tell whether they are slower or quicker than I am. They are almost always faster!
