That plant - A better boy tomato plant, is the worst better boy tomato plant on the face of the planet earth. I decided to remove it from the pot and transplant it in the back yard. I dug out a 1.5 foot deep hole, filled it with mulch, some top soil then placed it there in that hole and topped it off with top soil and watered the dickens out of it. We will see if that better boy does any better. Boy oh boy, I do hope it does better. Imagine if it might be soon possible to grow tomatoes in the Arctic!
The frozen tundra of the Arctic is experiencing something of an agriculture boom.

Is the boy tomato plant different from the common tomato plant?

We're in one of the saltiest, lowest, and driest deserts on the Earth and Geoff Lawton is teaching us how he makes compost in the desert!

There's nothing we can't do in time if we set our mind to do it. I hope you get some nice tomatoes.

I rarely get tomatoes. I did very well the first few years that we lived here but then the fungus that tomato blight moved into the yard and it kills the plants every year now. I still plant them though like an idiot. I keep hoping I'll get lucky one year.
