The Weather is something else today

Here in Connecticut. We started the day with Thunderstorms and torrential downpours. Now it is 1am (technically the next day) and it is 69 degrees Farenheit.. which would be great... if it wasn't 96% HUMIDITY! Ugh.. it is so sticky out there.

Try enjoying 96% humidity with 96 degree temperatures! That's what we deal with every day in Florida in the summer. Including daily thunderstorms and torrential downpours! We've had a very unusual summer so far in that our rainy season seems to be a lot more rainier than normal.

@minx267 I moved from south Florida to north Florida for the very reason that I wanted some type of seasons, even if the difference was only subtle. Granted, here in north Florida we don't get the spectacular changes in seasons that you get up north, but we do at least have some of our leaves change color in the fall! lol

One nice thing about California is that our heat is dry. But our weather was just right today -- not too hot or too cold. The sky was blue and gorgeous.

Oh I am very envious! VERY.. I spent one week in Cali over 10 years ago.. (Oceanside) in Feb. I loved the weather there..

@minx267 The coast is nice and not so hot as here. I'm on the Central Coast, about 26 miles inland and it gets up to the triple digits many days in summer.

I hate humidity, when it is hot and humid you feel like you are inside a sauna and this is something I never liked.

I would die!

Its 77° F here. That's 25 ° C for you metric snobs. Humidity is 83% Doesn't look too bad out there, but I haven't been out yet

I would kill for 77.. although 83% humidity sucks.. we just went through hell yesterday.. 98 degrees and they said it felt like 110 with humidity... and all this week it is in the 90's until friday.. This is going to be the week from hell.

lucky for me I am at work and they have good air conditioning... But I feel bad for my pets I left home . they have fan and a pretty weak A/C but it still feels very humid in my house.

it rained yesterday morning... I walked in it. it was a warm rain.. but now it is just muggy and sticky
