A New Challenge!

Summer has arrived.
It's the Canada Day long weekend.
Just over a week ago a sewing event began. It's called Row BynRow and this years theme is music.
I've collected a couple of patterns (free) at the two local quilt shops. A total of 8 are needed to meet the requirements of the challenge.
My family was enlisted to help me out. Requests were sent for others to pick up free patterns and mail them to me. So far four more patterns have arrived at my door. There are at least 10+ somewhere in transit,
It never occurred to me that I could also have enlisted mylot members in the US and Canada to send me some of the patterns available in their locales.
Shown, is one of the rows....sent to me by my eldest. It should be assembled before the day is done!

The challenge was completed....and I won (first to finish) at the quilt shop in the neighbouring community. The prize was 25 fat quarters (6.25 m of fabric) and a ukulele.

@JudyEv it came with an instruction book...but I must be challenged. Platespinners daughter has a ukulele so when I visit in a few weeks, I'll take it along.

@Morleyhunt Good for you. Congratulations. I love the phrase 'fat quarters'. I couldn't believe my ears first time I heard it. And a ukulele! Big bonus. Can you play or will you be trying to get a few lessons? Or maybe it will make a nice gift for someone.
