How are you spending this sunny and hot Saturday? / myLot

Today is one of those rare days where I have absolutely no responsibilities. No gigs. No papers to grade. Nothing. Well, I have to water my plants, but that's about it. It's already in the 80s out, and it's supposed to get to near 100, so I'm going to hit the pool. I have two books I want to finish, and a slightly tweaked knee I want to exercise. How are you spending this last day of June?

I'm keypunching a lot but I don't plan to hit a pool or any other object for that matter, I don't like pain

Just don't hit it too hard. And make sure there's water in it. It is 88 degrees here. Scorching hot and so very very humid. It's also "big trash day" and so I really do need to get back to work in getting some of the other stuff out to the curb. Did I mention it's hot?

It is 91 here, right now I am sitting in the family room in the a/ c, I am baking potatoes to take to my friends' house for dinner.

@TheHorse It was delicious, I baked the potatoes wrapped in sea salt and herbs (rosemary and mint) and they were so good and we had lobsters and steak!!

@TheHorse I am glad for you that you can finally relax. I cannot remember what June was like but can tell you how July is. Next week is the end of July and it is summer and like every Saturday it is our Sabbath and in the summer I spend it reading on the porch with my cat wanting attention.

@TheHorse I read in English and when she comes up and wants attention I give it to her and then if she grabs or bites I tell her to go down and will not pet her for quite some time or the next day. I tell her I do not llike that behavior.

My sister in law spent time here almost the while Saturday. We talk mostly about the kids and their studies in the future and stuff like that. Also there were rainshowers so I was not able to do some laundry.

It is very rare weekends, when you dint have any responsibilities. Every weekend, we have to do something, I am never be free. So, I am happy that you got one day without responsibilities.

Sounds good. It feels Like bout 88 here right now. I may try to change a fog light bulb in my Nissan Xterra, so as to feel productive, and then visit the pool when the sun is not directly overhead.
