So Much Fun Last Night
July 4, 2018 1:49pm CST
Last night was a great night, our little town did their fireworks display and held a concert with "38 Special" as the band. They sing, Rockin Into the Night, Teacher Teacher, Back Where you Belong. It was such a good concert, vendors set up all over and fireworks over the lake. The wind, however, did rear its ugly head in the middle of it blowing food and bags of chips off the vendors tables. Thank goodness the people here are so nice that everyone was pitching in to hold down tents and pick up items being blown away. The fireworks were amazing, and to top it off, the people we were sitting next too (out of the thousands there) moved here from the same town we did in CO and she worked for the police dept during part of the same time I did and we worked with the same cops. Small world indeed, so nice to share those memories with someone here. Hope your 4th is as enjoyable as ours was, everyone be safe.

Glad you had a great time out on the town. We stayed in, bough some fireworks and set them off in the yard. My oldest son has it down to a science on presenting them. I almost feel bad that he puts so much work in just for us but we do enjoy them.

@cintol I used to underestimate the power of the wind until one windy day while I was walking and a man who was riding his bicycle almost hit me because the wind was blowing so harshly and umbrellas were flying all around us as it was a sunny day too. And not to mention the skirts. The skirts Cindy-san. That was a terrible-hilarious day. So I respect the wind. hehe
