How would you react to people who think they are always right?

Do you go out of the way just to prove your point and that you are right? Those are life hassles that I wanted to avoid. I hope i will never meet these kind of people. Your thoughts please.

I do not like them. I do not associate with them. Those people cannot accept that they are wrong.

They are the last ones to be with. I like happy company and people who praise themselves and try to prove them right always can never be the happy soul's.

@anamika161088 Why do you assume that such people can't be happy? I'm sure they are. Knowing that they are the best must certainly make them happy.

@CaptAlbertWhisker No problem with debating my friend. It's just giving our own opinion on the subject and that should be nothing personal. And if we don't agree on things, we must not forget to respect each other's opinion, right?

@chavezrmc I remember debating an Islamist who said women should wear hijabs and Adult men should marry little girls. I debated them for months until he gives up.

i do not like people who believe they are better than others, even to the point of stepping on others' toes just so to be lifted high up in the air. i would also prefer to be friendly to people who are unassuming and humble, not feeling superior already and acting like this person knows everything.

@inter4 Of course we all have different opinions on different things. What is important is we respect each other opinions. But sometimes those people are doing things that almost want to slap in your face that they are right. Thanks for your thoughts.

I do my best to avoid getting in touch with such people, but when I happen to find myself in the company of such individuals I prefer not to contradict them because I hate getting involved in senseless talks and arguments with them. If they are so narrow-minded that they can't accept other people's opinions, why waste time and energy trying to persuade them that they might be sometimes wrong? I just let them be and think they are always right, and avoid as much as possible any future contacts with them.
