I am glad that I am not doing it. The pressure washing comes first and high pressure water is pounding various areas of the house right now. The painter and his son will then go away for a while while the place dries a bit then come back and get started in earnest with the paint.
This painter, Chris and his son, has done a lot of the manufactured homes in our community and came highly recommended. His parents live here as well. The price seems reasonable too. They will do the whole job with brushes, so we won't have to deal with windows covered with paper for days.
Temps in the mid 90s are expected later this week and they may be around as early as 6 AM on those days, to get more done before the paint dries instantly.
It will be nice to see how it comes out and to get rid of this light green color too. They have a nice cool day to begin the job with.

We hired painters for our house a couple years ago . . . we covered up all the green coloring that came with the house. Yep, it's super hot now to be painting. You'll love how fresh the outside of the house looks after they are done!

It is such a blessing that automatic scrubbers have landed. Manually doing it used to be time consuming and expensive too.

@JamesHxstatic Rollers make painting a lot quicker I think.

@JamesHxstatic That's the painful part: writing the check.

@JamesHxstatic I like it, that sounds pretty. When we lived in a house the last time we painted I chose a dove gray with a darker gray trim. The dove gray is a really light gray.

They sound great, and I am glad you can have someone else do it.

It is good to have people to do it for you. In the past we used to do it ourselves, I had ended up nearly breaking my own bones.
